Royal Indian Trains (Under our parent company - Lawrence Travels) has been pioneers in the marketing and sales of the Deccan Odyssey luxury train since its very inception. As an officially appointed General Sales Agent, our deep-rooted expertise sets us apart—members of our specialist team personally travel on these journeys to provide you with first-hand, insider insights.

What began in 1996 with our first official luxury train tour for the Palace on Wheels has since expanded into a premier, Pan-India operation. Today, we are dedicated exclusively to curating bespoke Indian luxury train journeys and high-end experiential travel for discerning international and domestic travelers.

Note: The Deccan Odyssey train is proudly launched by the Maharashtra Tourism Development Corporation (MTDC) and is currently managed under a long-term lease agreement by Ebix Cash (via its India unit, The Rail Journeys).
